PETITION STATEMENT

We, the undersigned residents and property owners within the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority (LFRA) service area, submit this petition as a formal and collective declaration of NO CONFIDENCE in the current actions and leadership decisions of the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Board of Directors.

This petition is submitted in response to recent governance and fiscal decisions that directly impact the safety, stability, and effectiveness of fire and emergency services provided to our community. Chief among these actions is the decision to place Fire Chief Tim Sendelbach on Administrative Leave.

The Board’s action regarding Chief Sendelbach cannot be viewed in isolation. It reflects a broader pattern of decisionmaking that has caused significant disruption within LFRA, undermined organizational stability, and eroded public trust. These actions jeopardize operational readiness and the wellbeing of the firefighters who serve our community.

We, the residents of the LFRA service area, express our strong and unified support for Fire Chief Tim Sendelbach. Chief Sendelbach has demonstrated proven leadership, professionalism, and sound judgment, with a consistent commitment to firefighter safety, operational accountability, and the protection of our community.

FORMAL DEMANDS

Through this petition, we formally and unequivocally DEMAND that the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Board of Directors:

1. Immediately reinstate Fire Chief Tim Sendelbach as Fire Chief of the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority
2. Act in the best interests of LFRA firefighters, personnel, and the residents they serve
3. Take immediate corrective action to restore stability, transparency, accountability, and public confidence within LFRA.
