PANDAS is a devastating disorder that destroys the lives of not only children but their families as well. There is unquestionable research proving PANDAS existence. Dr. Balistreri published Dr. Gilbert's bs paper & refused to publish Dr. Cunningham's reply. He is endangering the lives of the 1 in 200 kids with PANDAS by doing this. Mr. Fisher (CEO) & Dr. Wheeler (chief of staff) You have an obligation to force Dr. Balistreri to resign from his position as editor of the journal of pediatrics. He has shown implicit bias & a disregard for publishing only factual information. Furthermore, nobody from one hospital should be allowed to be the editor for such an extended period of time. If he was willing to publish Dr. Gilbert's bs, imagine how many other Children's doctors work he has published without properly reviewing their work. He must resign! Your hospital also has an obligation to open a PANDAS clinic & contribute to PANDAS research.
