Sign this petition to help encourage the likes of Christchurch city council to build a public aquarium in Christchurch. Public aquariums are a great place to enjoy larger set ups and species that you can not house in the typical home aquarium. There are many public aquariums all around the world, but none anywhere close to Christchurch. Sign the petition if you would like the likes of the council to develop a large multi million dollar aquarium in Christchurch that would house both fresh water and salt water, native and international species. If this petition gets enough signatures it will be presented to Christchurch city council and/or other parties capable of building one. We would also want Christchurch hobbyists to be able to have lots of involvement in the aquarium.
