If you like fish and turtles as pets, why not buy them in keychains? Hmmmmm, let's see here. Well, 1) There's something I'm not saying. 2) They're still ALIVE in the plastic keychain and 3) THAT'S JUST CRUEL!!!!
The vendors, who sell the baggies, claim the colored water is a “nutrient rich” solution that allows the live creatures shoved inside a seven centimeter bag to live for a few months, which I think is just terrible. One thing said, this is apparently, still going on. If the existence of these keychains wasn’t depressing enough, the fact that they’re not illegal makes them even worse. I really do wonder what runs through these people's minds. All we do know, is that people are trying to get these things illegal; like me.
Beautiful turtles and fish (kingfish to be exact) don't deserve to live in small, 7 centimeter bags, just for them to die in a month. If you agree, please, sign this petition and try to get these keychains, or whatever you want to call them, illegal.

You see, life is beautiful. Animals are somewhat part of our lives every single day. I was shocked to see that turtles and kingfish are so CLOSE to our lives. Apparently, we need them as keychains too. Which I think is a very um, weird and gruesome idea.
This is to help people understand that animals aren't supposed to be trapped in 7 centimeter baggies and sold to people and then die about a month later; or less. They're supposed to be in our ponds, rivers, and oceans, to help us study and realize the beauty of them.
Not once, had I thought that they should be used in keychains. I don't have very much information on these but, if you want to learn more, here's the website I found them on: http://www.geekosystem.com/chinese-turtles-fish-keychains/
And keep a daily watch on the I.S.F (Ian Somerhalder Foundation) to see if they become illegal or stay legal. Hopefully, they become illegal. Thank you fro taking your time to read this. Please, agree with us that it SHOULD be illegal.
