Every year in Yulin China thousands of dogs are killed as part of the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The Dog Meat Festival, commonly referred to as Yulin Dog Meat Festival, is an annual celebration held in Yulin, Guangxi, China, during the summer solstice in which festival goers eat dog meat and lychees. The festival began in 2009 and spans about ten days during which it is estimated that 10,000–15,000 dogs are consumed. The festival has been criticised by animal welfare and animal rights supporters. How can we stand and watch a these creatures are killed for no reason but to eat the meat.? Think about your dog that's probably laying beside you starting at you. What would you do if your dog was taken and became a part of this horrible festival? WHAT WOULD YOU DO??? The world is already a cruel place they do not deserve this treatment. I just ask when you look at your dog and see that cute little face that thanks you everyday for protecting them, you think of the dogs in Yulin who will be suffering this year because in one of those pictures you will see a dog that looks like yours as I did and it will devastate you.
