Stop Chinese government from distorting history of Goguryeo!

The Chinese government describes the Gwanggaeto Stele as if it had oriented from Chinese nation(Zhonghua Minzu, 中华民族).

The Chinese government publicizes the Gwanggaeto Stele as a part of Chinese history to all the foreigners visiting the site.

This policy is a part of the Northeast Project in order to convert all the history that happened in contemporary northeastern territory of China, into China’s history.

Even though this Project ended in 2007, the operation to impute the history of Goguryeo as to one of Chinese ethnic minorities or China’s history is now ongoing.

Some might cast doubt on the query describing the history that happened inside China’s border as the past of China.

The Northeast Project is not just partaking and recording the history of the region.

The Project does not simply preserve or recall the region’s ethnic history or roots.

It is rather a project to eventually reorganize global order and establish dominant-subordinate relationship with the neighboring countries by distorting and incorporating the history of the adjoining region into China’s history,

Some may ask if it were an immoderate concern.

The People’s Republic of China is actually expanding as a hegemon by raising territorial disputes within the borders of Hongkong, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines and India.

History is the main grounds of the territorial disputes.

For example, China is claiming the records of the Han Dynasty in 200 B.C.E. as a basis for claiming the sovereignty over the South China Sea.

The neighboring countries’ concern cannot be seen as immoderate because it is believed that the next step after China’s history distortion and incorporation might develop into invasion and expansion of the hegemon.

If you dream of an international relationship that impartially manifests each state’s sovereignty, please join us by becoming a part of raising voices of concern for the distortion of history by the Chinese government trying to sever and absorb the roots of the surrounding nations and states!

We request the following.

First, we request the Chinese government to stop distorting the history of cultural heritages and remains. 

Second, we demand UNESCO to express concerns regarding Chinese government’s history distortion.

중국 정부의 고구려 역사 왜곡을 막아주세요!

중국 정부는 광개토 대왕비를 중화민족 비석으로 표현합니다.

광개토 대왕비를 방문하는 전 세계 외국인들에게 고구려가 중국의 역사라고 홍보하고 있습니다. 

이 정책은 중국 동북지역에서 전개된 모든 역사를 중국 역사로 만들기 위한 동북공정 프로젝트의 일환입니다.

이 프로젝트는 2007년 종료되었지만, 고구려를 중국 소수민족이나 중국에 귀속된 역사로 홍보하는 작업은 현재 진행 중입니다.

중국 국경 안의 역사가 중국 역사로 표현하는 프로젝트가 무엇이 잘못된 것이냐고 물을 수 있습니다.

동북공정 프로젝트는 단순히 해당 지역의 역사를 공유하고 기록하는 프로젝트가 아닙니다.

그 지역 민족의 역사나 뿌리를 단순히 보존하고 기억하는 프로젝트가 아닙니다.

그보다는 지역의 역사를 현재 중국의 역사로 왜곡, 편입하여 궁극적으로 중국 중심으로 세계질서를 재편하고 주변국들과 종속적인 관계를 맺고자하는 프로젝트입니다.

지나친 우려가 아니냐고 물을 수 있습니다.

실제 중국은 홍콩, 대만, 베트남, 필리핀, 인도 국경지역 등에서 영유권 분쟁을 벌여 패권을 확장해 나가고 있고, 영유권 분쟁의 근거는 주로 '역사'입니다.

예를 들어 중국은 남중국해 영유권을 주장하는 근거로 기원전 200년 한나라 시절의 기록을 주장하고 있습니다.

역사 왜곡, 편입이 단행된 다음단계는 침략, 패권 확장일 것이라 우려하는 주변국의 우려는 지나친 우려로 볼 수 없습니다.

만약 당신이 각 국가의 주권이 공정하게 발현되는 국제 관계를 꿈꾼다면, 주변 민족, 국가의 뿌리를 단절, 흡수하려는 중국 정부의 역사 왜곡에 우려의 목소리를 내는데 함께해 주세요!

둘, 유네스코는 중국 정부의 역사왜곡에 우려를 표하라.
