Help Put a STOP to Child Abduction/Trafficking

Help Put a STOP to Child Abduction/Trafficking
The Issue
Is it just me, or do we hear about many cases of child abduction and/or child trafficking but never hear about the part where police or people with power take the initiative of actually doing something? They seem to throw away the case as if there isn't any hope but they don't think about how the parents or family are affected. While they are at the door waiting for their child to get home or waiting for that phone call that their child is safe is sound, we have the police not caring about them. I feel like it's also the type of neighborhood. It tends to happen where there are minority groups/lower class. While the parents might've permitted children or youth to wander the streets, they were once safe but not anymore. The streets aren't safe to walk so there must be way more resources such as more supervision or finding out why is it happening, provided for these neighborhoods. In the few weeks left of 2022, a case of a teen girl was walking the block I live in and a man tried to get her to get in the car, after that, different news channels came and report it, but that's all I heard ever since. Just think about how these families feel having an empty space in their homes and heart. Personally, thinking about losing someone just because someone chose to abduct them for their own selfish reasons breaks my heart. We don't know if they are being trafficked and/or if they are even safe. The last thing we want to get to is thinking of whether they are even still alive and able to come home. Let's come together to reduce and put a stop to child abduction/trafficking for the sake of the future.
