  • When should the government reopen the colleges? The government should reopen when there is a vaccine all over the country or after a few months have been passed. This is just too soon.
  • What about the medical education, especially the practical studies? There are no patients to practice or work with. The government promotes quarantine and self isolation themselves. We cannot learn anything without the presence of patients.
  • Shouldn't medical students willingly go and help the doctors to reduce their work load? We cannot learn in weeks what is supposed to be taught in 6-12 months. If we work as doctors without a degree, it's technically illegal. The patients deserve a certified doctor for their treatment.
  • What should the government do then, any suggestions? The government should continue with the online classes, if possible, online exams or general promotion based on previous records.
  • Won't online classes reduce the quality of medical education? Yes and NO. Yes, because practical classes and clinical postings are impossible right now. No, because we learn most of our work in theory and during internships we get to practice with the patients.
