Our Apex Court has taken a very good and right step of demanding Rs 5 Crores as deposit from Unitech for delays in handing over apartments to buyers in Noida. It is possibly a correction from the slip up in another case last year where possibly Mr P Chidambaram's face value gave UL a breather of 1 year but still they did nothing. This is a very notorious builder with some other prominent names in NCR. This co has all the wrong intents of tormenting innocent buyers and absconding with the money. Strong deterrents and action needed to save thousands of home buyers stranded with them. Govt and judiciary needs to be on fast forward mode to avoid another V Mallya or Subroto Roy like case.
