I feel as if my son Isaiah Demonte Lewis was falsely indicted for a rape he didn’t commit some of the facts in the case the young lady who accused my son stated that “he never penetrated me”, “ I took my own shirt off”, “I got under his cover on my own”, “I skipped school to meet up with him to smoke”, “I allowed him to walk me half way back to school”, as far as judge Robertson who sits in chesterfield county circuit court who previously sat in the Manchester court building. Stated to the jury that and I quote “you can not find the defendant guilty of sexual penetration and not guilty of rape it has to be both or neither”. Keep in mind the young lady has several different versions of what actually happened that day; all under oath. The main thing I felt was odd was the plea deal of time served no jail time three days before trial for a cop out to a felony and 20 year probation and for my son to become a registered sex offender. Which my son turned down saying “I didn’t rape her, I’m not taking that!” But my son did lie to the detective a year before they came and got him from his high school in front of the whole school. He was a 16 year old with a prior problem where the young lady explained “my mother made me testify because she seen my texts”. The young lady from the first case also came forth and explained that the girl in favor was going to do this before we where even notified by the authorities. In conclusion he lied because he was truly afraid. All we ask is that he be treated as if he where human and his innocence be confirmed. We will take it as far as it needs to go. The proof is in the transcripts now we need our son to return home to his two children, 5 siblings and mother and father. Because his football career has been stolen from someone who is very disturbed and miserable.
