Dog killing and eating happens in Nagaland. This is illegal as per the laws of India and it can't be allowed under any culture or religion. Dogs are brought in from other states as Nagaland has no dogs left to be killed and eaten. West Bengal and Assam are the states which supply the state with dogs.

There is an animal bazar (even after covid19, which is shameful) in Dimapur where the dogs with their mouth tied up with ropes and kept in gunny bags are brought it. Many of them dies of suffocation.

This should reach Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Mr Temjan Toy so that he ask the police to stop this barbarism and the smugglers are caught and punished. If we don't make it happen, more and more dogs will be brought in and will be killed. Probably here is where all the street dogs which are caught in your cities are smuggled.
