Hello Concerned Parents of Charlotte County!

Lots of misinformation out there about what Jim Barber will do if he were to win the school board race, so I thought I would clarify a few things.

These are some of the things that Jim Barber for Charlotte County School Board will do:
1. Make sure that the children of Charlotte County are not being indoctrinated with woke ideologies such as CRT & SEL. 

2. Protect the children of Charlotte County from gender neutral antics. Making sure that girls and girls only use bathrooms/ locker rooms designated for girls & vice versa. 

3. Protect your parental rights. Put you in the driver’s seat of your child’s education. Making sure you are aware of what’s going on in our classrooms and giving you the opportunity to opt in/opt out if you’d like. 

4. Increase school security without it looking like a prison. Ensuring that all children are not fearful of going to school.

5. Make sure that board meetings and board planning meetings are at a time in the day where parents can attend and not miss work. Allowing you to be an active participant. And making sure that freedom of speech prevails. 

Jim’s opponent is a lifetime educator, he is endorsed by the Democratic Party in Charlotte. He’s the Joe Biden of the district, having really done nothing to change or improve things in the district in over 30 years! He’s endorsed by the person that sits in that board seat right now, Ian Vincent. Ian Vincent is as liberal as they come. He is also being endorsed by the head of the teachers union…that should scare ALL of us! The rest of the board members are also supporting this candidate, so they can continue to make bad decisions like NOT firing the teacher who made a video saying she would continue to indoctrinate your children despite a law that our Governor passed. Jim’s opponent not only allowed forced masking of our children, he also enforced it. I don’t believe for one second he would vote against it again! This board has made it very clear to me that they like to vote in lockstep 5 to 0.

It’s time to wake up Charlotte and realize that if we don’t turn over this board we are going to be like Sarasota. Jim is the first step. In 2024, there will be the opportunity to get Bob Segur, Kim Amontree and Wendy Atkinson out as well. Please cast your vote for him on August 23rd! Trust me, he is the RIGHT & ONLY conservative candidate!
