Vikram Sharma, inhabitant and active member of the community of Kilcar, Co. Donegal, was recently forced from his home by immigration authorities.

Vikram, or Ricky as he is known as in the area, was attempting to obtain legal residence in Ireland. He has offered valued labor to the town and taken an interest in the local community. He has volunteered for the tidy towns committee, and taken part in events related to the Kilcar community such as the GAA, the various festivals, and attending funerals and wakes in the area. Ricky has gained the respect and trust of the people of Kilcar through the years he has lived there and is known as a valued member of the community.
