One would think with a President who supports law enforcement that passage of the changes to LEOSA would be a no-brainer, but for some reason it takes a Congressman from Nebraska to try to make the change happen. Regardless of your stance on 2A issues, having the thousands of active and retired law enforcement officers as armed deterrents throughout the nation should have happened already. I can't understand why this does not sail through.

The latest proposed changes by Congressman Don Bacon from Nebraska were referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security on 3/25/19. As far as I can tell that sub-committee has not taken any action with regards to the bill.
