Hi everyone, Thanks again for promoting the petition and keeping in touch about replies from Southern. Unfortunately, although earlier replies from Southern made vaguely promising noises about looking further into the service to S Croydon, recent replies have just said they will revisit the timetable throughout the year and that our comments have been noted. Completely useless. Have you heard back from your MPs? Thank you to Marsha de Cordova, the Battersea MP, for taking this up with GTR directly - we look forward to hearing their response. How about the other MPs along the line, any news, anyone? PLEASE CAN WE EMAIL MPs AGAIN (contact details in earlier posts) AND ALSO NOW PRESS CHRIS GRAYLING, AS SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT, FOR HIS SUPPORT - HIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS CHRIS.GRAYLING.MP@PARLIAMENT.UK. Just say it your way, express your fury as you have on the message board and in emails to Southern. But put simply, Southern are cutting our direct trains to S Croydon, meaning several changes, increased journey times, inconvenience and increased risk of harm. PLEASE, PLEASE CAN YOU EMAIL MR GRAYLING, send him a proper letter in the post, even - we need everyone to do their bit, PLEASE DON'T ASSUME THAT THIS PETITION ALONE WILL BRING RESULTS. Southern have drastically cut our local services and seem to have no intention of rectifying their error. Let’s ask the MPs to work together in their approaches to Southern – we’ve asked this, but not had a response on that point.
