I believe that most people who are going to see this will already know much of the backstory, but for those that don't, let me explain.

Richard Jason Gallardo was caught illegally carrying a concealed firearm inside of the Shasta County Elections office earlier this year. This is undeniable and undisputable as his firearm was confiscated from him by law enforcement only moments after leaving the elections office due to a separate issue.

It was confirmed by the Shasta County Sheriff's office that Richard does NOT have a CCW permit, however that wouldn't have mattered because even IF you have a CCW, you are still not allowed to carry a firearm in a government building without the proper permission, which he most certainly does not have as was confirmed by the Assistant County Clerk.

Richard Jason Gallardo is someone who believes that he is above the law, and his actions put other citizens of this county in danger. His willingness to show up to people's homes, attempt citizen's arrests, and carry illegally make him a danger to our community.

He has lied about his affiliations with local law enforcement, he was let go from Cal Fire for brandishing a gun at the workplace, and he needs to receive consequences for his actions.
