Good Morning All, I have decided to share more as to why this matter has been so important to us. When our children are denied services for years and/or intentionally given shoddy services - it has lead to suicide ideation in many children across the state. Some children ended their lives. The records are replete with this especially under the TEA Cap. Our own son, C.C. was denied services for over 7 years under that Cap. When we took our test results AGAIN to the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD - C.C.'s past VP, Darla Clark had other intentions. She was seen at both Central Jr. High and Bedford Jr. High and not surprisingly, knew the Hearing Officer VERY well as they both went to school together in HEBISD. Darla Clark was telling her colleagues many horrific false things about C.C. leading to C.C. being targeted for behaviors. They also lied as to how many times we tried to pursue services for C.C. under the Cap. Ultimately, Darla Clark, Scott Hurbough, Damon Emery, Dee McNosky and NONA MATTHEWS decided to target C.C. to bring false criminal charges against 12 year old C.C. C.C. was being physically abused and bullied at Central Jr. High. When we brought this to their attention WHILE seeking services, the Principal there said he deserved it. This lead to Clark, Hurbough, Emery, McNosky and NONA MATTHEWS asking various people to press charges against C.C. C.C. was bullied by adults in his school district that he trusted to keep him safe. On December 17, 2012, both C.C. and a classmate Hassan B. were targeted and received charges. Hassan for something much different than C.C. C.C. received his for "disruption of class". By February 21st, Damon Emery gave false information to the SRO, C.C. and a family in order to have C.C. criminally charged a FALSE felony. Emery maintained a false element for well over three years. He did not have faulty memory. It was all intentional and relentless. The good news was that the Authorities saw right through the bs. Damon Emery then went on to give many counts of perjury in testimony and in an investigation. Back to that tragic Spring when C.C. was being hit with an onslaught of false criminal charges (none of them were upheld), C.C. received two more false charges by his teacher. These two also did not hold up. All of this was done after we took C.C. off his stimulant medication and asked for services. Some were claiming that C.C.'s disabilities were made up. This was entirely not true as the record was REPLETE with all his disabilities. The day we received news of two more false felony charges at 12 years old, Hassan hung himself. Hassan was run out of Bedford Jr. High and C.C. continued on only to receive three more false charges. We were devastated of the news of all these new charges and this was then the very same day Hassan was found hanging in his bedroom before school started. This was a day of shattering life changing devastation I will never forget for the rest of my life. I cannot even begin to describe it and I promised those two boys we would fight for them; only to be later ridiculed and lied about further by school employees and NONA MATTHEWS and her friends. Damon Emery, Dee McNosky, Scott Hurbough and Nona Matthews decided rather than expunging the records after terrorizing us - that they would rather go on and lie to the Office of Civil Rights, in a TEA Hearing, and the lower Federal Court. Nona Matthews KNOWINGLY made as many false claims in filings, briefs and Oral Arguments. We pursued this litigation because Hassan laid six feet in the ground dead and we needed to show all of the missteps that took place with C.C. some by negligence on the school's part and some very very intentional. We needed to show the seriousness of the school to prison pipeline. Instead the school district put out a tabloid on us and had Nona's cronies and the school district cronies threaten us across social media. We also ended up with false judgments against C.C. While the school district and Nona Matthews go on to award themselves, promote themselves and continue to make a mockery of us, this song posted ABOVE is in honor of C.C. and Hassan B., I am posting this song and tribute from C.C. to Hassan and all the children in this state that took their lives rather than continue the fight. In honor of them, C.C. and ourselves stood for what was right. For all of those children who gave up the fight and Hassan B., this song is for everyone of you.. Although the school district made a mockery of all of us and permanently harmed us, we never ever took the day you ended your life lightly Hassan. We never forgot. This song is dedicated to Hassan and All children in our public schools that gave up the fight. We'll carry on for all of you...
