Hi everyone, The UK news recently reported that Barry Bennell, a former football coach pleaded guilty to a string of sex offences against children between 1979-1991 and is due to be sentenced early next week. I was sexually abused from 1993-1996 and yet my abuser still walks free because of a legal loophole. To quote that inspirational speech made by Oprah Winfrey recently “What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have.” So as ever, I urge you all to share and promote this petition. I know so many of you already have, and for that I’m incredibly grateful. Please know that every single person who has signed this petition already has my eternal gratitude, but I still very much need every one of you to share my truth and get this peadophile off our streets and away from the children he continues to coach. I’m still chasing my local MP to get back on to the CPS to try and get my case reopened, so I’m still very much working on it behind the scenes.
