Change the Western Australian State Flag to the Laser Swan
The issue
The WA State Flag we have all come to know has been officially recognised since 1953, but in the 70+ years since this decision the world has changed. More importantly, WA has changed, becoming a mining powerhouse not just in Australia but the whole world. To accomodate for this success I believe our State Flag should reflect it. So I would like to propose "The Laser Swan Flag".
Instead of the Union Jack we've got a kangaroo paw flower (native to South-Western Australia) and we've still got the black swan but now IT'S SHOOTING LASERS OUT OF ITS EYES! LASERS!
If we change our flag to this nobody will understimate us, nobody will mess with us, they might even fear us; and the people of Western Australia will work harder, think smarter, and maybe, just maybe, stop moving to Melbourne.
