Born in 1997, I feel misplaced in the generational classification. Growing up with the '90s revolution, I relate more to Millennials than Gen Zers. Many of us born in the late '90s share this sentiment. By changing the start year for Generation Z to 2000, we can give '90s kids one last moment of pride and a sense of belonging with Millennials.
