This issue does not just affect students in South Carolina, but also their parents. Not being allowed to use our phone while in school grounds will cause numerous problems for parents who get concerned about their children during the day. If an emergency occurs, such as a fire, there will be no way to contact the parents, since everyone will have to evacuate and won’t be able to use the office phones.
