Musicians, fans, lovers of music have witnessed for several years confusion grow and grow as non Rock n Roll artists have been inducted into what is called the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. This is a disservice to not only the Rock n Roll community but to the communities that these artists come from as well. 
For future generations to look at this Hall and consider artists such as Jay-Z, Public Enemy, Eminem and others as Rock n Roll distorts reality and history and takes away not only the story of Rock n Roll but the story of hip hop. These artists are incredibly talented and deserving of high accolades but should be considered popular music more than Rock n Roll.

As the end days approach for the Legacy bands and the shapers of original Rock n Roll it is critical that we stay true to the story of this amazing institution called Rock n Roll. However, it is also important to remember the other genres that grew up along the way. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame title will be confusing to generations that come next and we must act now so that each genre can be included and have its proper story told.
