The issue

Parking in my court has been a chronic problem for quite some time. It disrupts daily life and unnecessary "No Standing" signs have made it worse instead of better. Many of us have faced inconveniences and misunderstandings, almost daily, due to the current parking regulations in place.

The "No Standing" rule is blanketly applied without taking into consideration the actual parking needs and usage patterns of the community. This oversight creates a needless barrier that directly impacts residents like me who depend on this space for convenient parking. It's not only frustrating but also impractical given the realities of our court's parking demands.

What I am proposing is the transition of this "No Standing" rule to "No Parking between 9 am to 5 pm." This change will provide much-needed flexibility to residents outside of office hours while maintaining an orderly system during peak times. It aligns with the practical needs of the community, eases unnecessary problems, and makes the driveway more accessible for all residents without impacting traffic flow.

The current "No Standing" regulation affects visitors and residents alike, potentially leading to unnecessary fines and confrontations. By adjusting the parking restrictions to exclude the nighttime hours, we embody both convenience and consideration, fostering a more harmonious environment.

Please consider signing this petition to prompt local authorities to rethink and revise these parking regulations. Your support can make our lives less stressful and contribute to a more practical and harmonious use of space in our community.
