Keep Metro-Meridian Open

The Issue

Wichita Public Schools (USD 259) is being cut $22 million in the education budget. One possibly of saving money is to consolidate all alternative schools in the district, and moving them to the Chester Louis building. To all the students that currently and previously attended Metro-Meridian, it is a close family environment, and an opportunity to be able to be successful in life after graduation. All students that have or are attending go there for a reason, and one is transportation. The school district is not considering the number of students that are not capable of driving across town to obtain the education that will help society, the economy, and the government thrive in future years Our goal is to vote no to closing Metro-Meridian, and to find another alternative to save money
