Pat Roberts is an American politician who served as a U.S. Senator from Kansas from 1997 to 2021. Prior to this, he was in the U.S. House of Representatives for 16 years. A member of the Republican Party, Roberts also held the position of Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee from 2003-2007. Known for his conservative positions on most issues, he was instrumental in shaping agricultural policies, given his role as Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee. Beyond his political career, Roberts is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a graduate of Kansas State University.
