Change Name of Mount Rushmore to Mount Gregmore

Change Name of Mount Rushmore to Mount Gregmore
Why this petition matters
Mount Rushmore, the celebrated national landmark but not to many Native Americans, has been controversial for years and certainly since the 1980s when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the U.S. had unlawfully stolen the Black Hills territory of South Dakota (home of Mount Rushmore) from the Lakota Indians and awarded $17.1 million in damages.
Many others object because two of the four presidents immortalized on the mountain (Washington and Jefferson) were former slave owners.
Use of the phrase 'Mount Rushmore' as the acclamation of greatness ("the Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks" etc.) also has increasingly come under fire, including most recently by ESPN analyst Jalen Rose.
The Greg Cote Show podcast has a solution!
Mount Gregmore is a popular segment on the podcast, and the show is offering the name Mount Gregmore as a replacement name free of all of the sins and unfortunate past associated with Mount Rushmore.
