Firstly thank you everyone for signing my petition. I've just clocked my first 1,000 signatures today and I promised a special video for this occasion. It has a slight American bent to it, yet it still rings true for Australia.
Note the issues we are facing like rent and housing availability and affordability are world-wide. And so far NO world government has chosen to address the issue, not because it's unsolvable or too hard, but because the asset class will be upset by the fixes, Rupert Murdoch and the other Neo-Liberal Media owners will pour fuel on the fire, and the incumbent political party will be voted out - even though it's good policy and the working class (majority) of the electorate would support it.
If we make our National Anti-Corruption Commission hold Public Hearings, and if like NSW ICAC, it can dole out justice to any corrupt and illegal conduct by our politicians, then the secrets die, along with the privileged access to politicians.
The point is, there's wealth and then there's ridiculous wealth. And we are led to believe that this is OK.
