Arnie was an 8-year-old German Shepherd with a gentle soul and an unbeatable bond with his family. Tragically, Arnie's life was cut short when his owner Nathan Mckeown decided to FAKE a stolen car with Arnie inside. Despite having the chance to save him, his owner left Arnie trapped inside the abandoned vehicle, ultimately leading to a cruel and avoidable death for beautiful Arnie and then Nathan lying to the whole country about his cowardly act. 

This heart-wrenching incident shone a stark light on the appalling gap in legal protection for animals like Arnie. We need long Prison sentences, not a small fine and a slap on the wrist… This heinous crime needs to be truly punished, I think 10yrs prison would deter more abusers. Arnie trusted his owner and Nathan Mckeown abused that trust to ultimately take Arnie’s life…Arnie couldnt fight for himself and has no voice. Let US be that voice that all animals deserve.. ZERO TOLERANCE! HARD PRISON TIME FOR NATHAN McKEOWN!!
