Recently, Instagram has been releasing updates that it’s users neither want nor need, most significantly the new algorithms. These algorithms have been limiting the growth of content creators’ accounts, disorienting our feeds and ultimately preventing users from seeing what they came for — the posts of the people they are following. Maybe instead of creating a myriad of unnecessary updates such as these, they should focus on things like being able to pause a video or getting rid of/ moving that inconveniently placed heart in the DMs.
