Thousands of people have a Bed and Breakfast, but pay Council Tax as opposed to Business Rates. They are still registered as businesses and pay the necessary insurance and tax required by businesses. They do not get small business relief on the huge amount of Council Tax that they pay and, because of this, they are not entitled to the Government Grant recently announced to help small businesses who are suffering due to the Coronavirus outbreak. 
This grant could be a lifeline to those who are likely to lose not only  their business, but also their home. 
This petition would ask that ALL small businesses be treated equally.
