Petition updateChampioning Parental Rights for a Better Workplace TomorrowNo Parent Should Have to Choose

Hello friend,

This week, I want to share why this fight for parental rights is so critical.

When I was denied parental leave to care for my newborn son, I was forced to choose between my job and my family. That experience isn’t unique—it’s a reality faced by millions.

Here’s the truth:

In the U.S., 1 in 4 mothers return to work just two weeks after giving birth because they can’t afford unpaid leave.

Globally, stigma and lack of policy leave fathers on the sidelines. In Japan, only 5% of fathers take paternity leave despite a legal entitlement.

These aren’t just statistics—they’re real families being forced to make impossible choices.

But together, we can change this. Every signature on this petition gets us closer to workplaces that support parents, not punish them.

Let’s keep fighting for families. If you haven’t yet, please share this petition with your networks.

Change starts with us.

Thank you for standing with us.
