I am a firm believer in the rule of law and democracy for the United States of America. It is with this belief that I feel compelled to voice my concerns about recent decisions made by our highest court. The Supreme Court, which should be an unbiased institution, has been openly subverting the will of the people by allowing Donald Trump to use its power to evade his alleged crimes.

Our democracy is built on principles of justice and accountability. No individual, regardless of their position or influence, should be above these principles. Yet, it seems that our legal system is failing us in this regard. According to a report by The New York Times (2020), multiple investigations into potential criminal conduct by Mr. Trump have been hindered due to his status as a former president.

This situation sets a dangerous precedent for future leaders who may also seek immunity from their actions while in office. It undermines public trust in our institutions and erodes the very foundations upon which our nation was built.

We must stand against this blatant disregard for justice and demand accountability from those who lead us. We call on all citizens who believe in fairness and equality before the law to join us in challenging these decisions made by the Supreme Court.
