Ceredigion Armed Forces Champion

I am a resident of Ceredigion, deeply connected to the Armed Forces community. Our current Armed Forces Champion has unfortunately shown a lacklustre approach towards his duties, prioritising personal gain over the welfare of our veterans. His actions have distanced rather than united us, and his availability seems contingent on media exposure.

This is not what we expect from someone in such an important role. The Office of the Armed Forces Champion was established with the intention to provide support and advocacy for those who have served our country bravely. It's disheartening that this purpose appears to be lost on our current representative.

In 2020 alone, there were approximately 2.4 million veterans living in the UK (source: Ministry of Defence). Each one deserves respect, support, and proper representation - something we feel is currently lacking in Ceredigion.

We are calling for immediate action to address this situation - whether it be through improved performance or replacement of our current Armed Forces Champion with someone who truly values and understands our veterans' needs.
