While Staying caged in a lockdown we realised that , how would animal have felt or are feeling there whole life ( animals living in zoos )

Animals don't belong in captivity, as they are meant to roam, fly or swim freely. Animals kept in zoos are denied everything that is natural and important to them – every aspect of their lives is controlled and managed. They are housed in cages that don't come close to the jungles, deserts and forests that are their natural homes. They have no choice in their diets, mates or living companions. A few fleeting moments of distraction for zoo visitors mean a lifetime of misery for the animals.

The physical and mental frustrations of captivity often lead to abnormal, neurotic and even self-destructive behaviour in animals, called "zoochosis". This mental illness is marked by symptoms such as pacing, neck-twisting, head-bobbing, bar-biting and other repetitive behaviour.

Zoos tout their participation in species preservation, but the vast majority of animals displayed in zoos around the world are not endangered, and captive breeding programmes do little to protect wild populations. Returning captive-bred animals to their natural homelands is often costly and nearly impossible, and most zoos don't even attempt it. In fact, no captive breeding of endangered big carnivores (such as tigers, lions or leopards) has resulted in the release of those animals back into their natural habitats. And of course, members of animal species that are endangered are no happier in zoos than members of species that are plentiful in number are.

Warehousing animals in zoos is not the solution for saving them. The primary focus of conservation must shift from collections of animals in captivity to habitat preservation. Keeping animals in cages – in zoos or any animal display – does not foster respect for animals in nature. They are still hunted, poached, captured for display and otherwise eradicated.

Let's end this zoo culture as many more country are in process to this , so why not India

Singapore is an best example
