This is for residents and businesses of Central Manitoulin, especially those with property adjacent to a lake.  You could be next.  If the municipality goes ahead with their plan to take away our care and control of the shoreline adjacent our campground and confiscate our breakwater, what's to stop them from taking away your shoreline and breakwater?  A dangerous precedent will be set and everyone is fair game.  Thank you for signing our petition and sharing it, but you what you need to do now is contact members of Council directly and let them know how you feel about this.  This is the link to Council members' emails (www.central manitoulin.ca/administration/council).  Email them or contact them another way, but get in touch with them.  They need to know what the public wants.  Otherwise they'll just do whatever minimum is required to make this thing go away. They are human.  They just want to go on with their lives.  They want to do the right thing, but sometimes they need to be reminded what the right think is.  So please, don't be shy and let them know your position on this.  Thank you.
