I should keep my mouth shut, but I’m infuriated, disgusted, and so saddened by the states actions to mandate this jab into certain facilities, mine being one of them! And right before the holidays! Great job! In the next two weeks, I will most likely be jobless and it is NOT THE CHOICE of my agency, they’ve done everything they can to help and prevent this from happening, but the time Has come,where we the people are no longer being heard, and they have put agencies into a corner. Not only will I lose my job, but I will lose my 2nd family, a place I’ve been at for 15 years. MY RESIDENTS WILL SUFFER; they are intellectually disabled. Who will take care of them properly? Who’s going to protect them? Who will know them any better then we do? No one. No one will ever fill my spot, or the spot of my team, and staff. How will the house run? Will they run under ratio? It’s appalling how someone can be so selfish, and not think about the most VULNERABLE RESIDENTS, over MONEY!!!!! OPWDD and the CENTER FOR MEDICARE AND MEDICAID SERVICES should be ashamed of themselves !!! I NEED THE help from everyone to share and sign! Putting aside already the staffing issues we have, this now will cause a catastrophic change!
