Healthcare workers: last year’s heroes with NO vaccine, this year’s unemployed BECAUSE of the vaccine.

As a healthcare professional, in 2020 when the pandemic caused chaos and shut the world down, healthcare workers stood on the front lines with our lives at risk. With minimal Personal Protective Equipment or essentially none at all, and absolutely NO vaccine, we saved lives while forgoing our own safety. We were away from our own families, barely eating, barely sleeping, and crying in our cars on the way home.  We were expected to continue working & finance our medical bills if we become sick in the process. 

Fast forward to 2021, we have been given an ultimatum to relinquish our constitutional rights and medical freedom or succumb to the death of our career—the same career that was so highly praised before a vaccine existed or prior to scientists understanding the epidemiology of the virus. 
 
No one should be “mandated” or forced to participate in any activity, especially when it involves their body, if it’s not their personal desire or own free will. After all, as a healthcare professionals, we were always taught that a patient has a right to refuse any form of treatment. I believe in & fully support medical freedom!
