This petition has been created for those who have lost their Polygon MATIC tokens transferring them from wallet addresses to Celsius Network using the Polygon Mainnet protocol. Polygon MATIC tokens are transferred using either Ethereum (ERC-20) protocol or Polygon Mainnet protocol.  Celsius at this time only supports the Ethereum (ERC-20) network.  If a Celsius client transfers a Polygon MATIC token from a source wallet using the Polygon Mainnet protocol, the token will exist on the Polygon Mainnet, however, Celsius will be unable to receive the tokens because they are not configured for the Polygon Mainnet protocol. The transfer gets confirmed but it does not appear in the receipt address as it is not supported. People all around the world are making this honest mistake on daily basis finding their funds trapped in the blockchain. Everyday new cases of this same issue arise as Celsius customer's concerns are being addressed with a vague message that their developers are working on this, however no ETA will be given to the recovery of the funds or whether if the funds will be recoverable at all.

Polygon Mainnet is supported by Polygon.  Polygon's support response is that Celsius (or Celsius' custodian) has the only access to the wallet's private keys. The solution would be a configuration of the Polygon Mainnet on the Celsius platform to accept Polygon MATIC tokens for their customers.

We are hoping that this petition with your signature will help raise awareness and recover lost Polygon MATIC tokens.  On a larger scale impact, signing this petition will also aid in crypto adoption around the world.  Many are hesitant to jump into the crypto universe because of the anxieties and complexities of relying of oneself to "be your own bank." If a token is introduced with multiple protocol networks, a platform such as Celsius should support every protocol possible to avoid loss of tokens.  This is the first step in bulletproofing the transfer process as more sophisticated wallet services are developed.  Please sign this petition for those whom lost funds and for the greater good of crypto adoption.
