Cease the Use of RoundUp Pro Herbicide in Our Housing Association

The Issue

We are residents within this community, responsible for our children and pets. Recently, we noted with deep concern the use of RoundUp Pro as a herbicide by our Housing Association. This product poses severe risks to human and animal health that cannot be ignored. Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, has been linked to a variety of health problems, including cancer, neurological disorders, and developmental issues (National Pesticide Information Center).

In addition to the impact on human health, glyphosate products also jeopardize the safety of our pets. According to the Pet Poison Helpline, they can cause vomiting, anorexic, excessive panting, and even death in our furry friends. Our children and pets are a fundamental part of our lives, and their health and safety can not be compromised.

We request our Housing Association to reconsider this decision and opt for more environmentally-friendly and safer alternatives. It is our  responsibility to safeguard our community, and that includes every resident - human and animals alike. We should not have to fear for our health and the health of our loved ones due to a decision made without our consent.

We urge you to support our cause by signing this petition — Together, we can protect our community and ensure a safer, healthier environment for all.
