After months of lobbying and advocating for Pago Park, we have progress and hopeful news to share with our petition supporters. Director Ken Tupua and the Department of Parks & Recreation have secured grant funding for several playgrounds around the territory, including one for Pago Park. Fa'afetai tele Director Tupua and Team, for your tireless efforts in completing this work.  

Public parks are not just amenities; they are critical infrastructure. Unfortunately, this vital infrastructure is not getting the attention and resources it needs. The Department of Parks and Recreation has a minimal percentage of the territory's budget; a more significant commitment is necessary. 

Our work doesn't end here. This petition's mission and goal is and will always be to Physically Improve Pago Pago Park, from cleaning to significant renovations.
