The latest blunders of CSAB are the worst in the history of education admissions in India. While the cutoff for GE category in NIT Kurukshetra for say 'Production &Industrial Engg' is 28465 for homestate, a student from Kurukshetra with a rank of 22000 and first choice as this branch, does not get allotted this. Similar is the case with a student opting for NIT Rourkela, and seems like this is a problem facing hundreds of students. Highly ridiculous Mr Sarangi. Its a shame you are the Director of an institute like NIT Rourkela. It seems like in a bid to make everything happen in haste (because the current HRD Ministry under Pallam Raju and Shashi Tharoor are so scared that a court might give judgement before the admissions end), they are not able to control anything.
