Cast Oliver Jackson-Cohen As The DCU Batman

Cast Oliver Jackson-Cohen As The DCU Batman
The Issue
For the past decade, Oliver Jackson-Cohen has exhibited a remarkable acting prowess in such films like The Invisible Man, Faster, Jackdaw, Emily, and The World Will Tremble, as well as streaming shows Surface, Wilderness, Agatha Christie's Towards Zero, and The Haunting franchise. Despite his iconic and memorable performances, he currently remains overlooked to be considered for the role of the most iconic superheroes: Batman.
His line of work speaks for himself: remarkably talented, ever so versatile, and wise beyond his years, he is not only showcased his extraordinary range and magnetic presence, he is also capable of striking the right balance between the handsome, charismatic billionaire Bruce Wayne and the brooding, black-clad vigilante of Gotham City.
With Ben Affleck done for good and Robert Pattinson's portrayal in another world, the DC Universe is deserving of a Batman who leapt out of the modern comics. Jackson-Cohen is younger than Affleck, but older than David Corenswet, which could make an effective onscreen pairing as The Last Son of Krypton and the World's Greatest Detective in the near future.
His portrayal would not only bring fresh energy to the character, but could also attract his fanbase to the growing DC Universe and be a strategic move for Warner Bros. going forward, providing a fresh take on the character while maintaining the dark, brooding essence fans expect, unlike bloated fan-favorite choices that missed the mark, like Jensen Ackles (too old), Alan Ritchson (too blonde), Theo James (too handsome), Tom Bateman (too edgy), and Brandon Sklenar (too scruffy).
Please sign and share this petition to support the casting of Oliver Jackson-Cohen as Batman and witness a reinvigoration of the character that pays homage to the legacy of past portrayals (both animated and live-action) while embracing the future with innovation and sophistication.
Thank you.
