Notre usine est implantée à Ham dans la Somme, et fabrique depuis plus de 100 ans des vannes industrielles qui sont vendues et reconnues dans le monde entier (Allemagne, Etats-Unis, Algérie, Japon…).Nous avons été Ateliers de St Sulpice, COGERO, COMAP, Pont à Mousson, Alsthom Fluid, GRI SAPAG, TYCO puis PENTAIREntreprise artisanale et familiale, elle a vu passer des générations de Hamois. Grands-parents, parents et enfants se sont succédés.
Le 15 décembre 2015 en guise de cadeau de Noël notre direction nous annonce la fermeture du site et la suppression de nos 132 emplois.
PENTAIR, fonds de pension américain accepte de fusionner avec TYCO en 2012 pour mettre la clé sous la porte en 2017 !
En 2015 nous avons dépassé les objectifs fixés par la direction, nous sommes le site PENTAIR le plus rentable de France et d'Europe.
En 2015 nous avons fait 6,4 millions d’euros de bénéfices et 22% de marge
En 2017 nous serons 132 licenciés
POURQUOI CETTE FERMETURE ?
Les raisons évoquées par le groupe :
• situation économique difficile (effondrement du marché du pétrole)
• une restructuration s'impose avant d'être dans le rouge
• mauvais prévisionnel
• 600 millions de perte du groupe
LES VERITABLES RAISONS
• Encore plus de profit pour les actionnaires !
• Délocaliser c'est réduire la fiscalité
• Produire en masse et avec une main-d'oeuvre à bas coût.

WE ARE AGAINST THE CLOSURE OF PENTAIR HAM PLANT
we are FOR the decision of PENTAIR to allow Ham’s plant to keep manufacturing all of our products and fulfilling all of our customers purchase orders, and this beyond 2017
We are located in Ham, (Somme region) and for more than 100 years we have been manufacturing industrial valves which are sold and known all around the world.
On December 15th, just before the Christmas Holiday, top management informed us about the site closing and the liquidation of 132 jobs.
PENTAIR, an American pension funds, accepts the merger with TYCO in 2012 but has decided to close our plant in 2017 !
In 2015 we have exceeded the targets fixed by the headquarters, we are the most profitable PENTAIR plant in both France and Europe.
In 2015 we made € 6,4 million profit at 22% margin
In 2017 we will be 132 unemployed
WHY CLOSE PENTAIR HAM SITE ?
The reasons given by the group are :
• The current difficult economical environment (oil market sales decrease).
• Restructuring Pentair group is necessary
• bad forecast
• € 600 million loss at the group level in 2015
THE REAL REASONS
• Increase profit for the shareholders !
• Delocalization to reduce taxes.
• Mass production using a low-cost workforce.
THIS CLOSING IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND INCOMPREHENSIBLE
Our biggest French customers are TOTAL, AREVA, DCNS, EDF
They need our products and our French expertise !
Our brands SAPAG and MECAFRANCE are well-known worldwide
They cannot disappear !
WE NEED TO UNITE AGAINST CLOSURES OF PROFITABLE PLANTS !
WE NEED TO FIGHT TOGETHER TO BUILD A FUTURE FOR HAM PLANT
