We have reached 1501 signatures as of today, May 15, 2016! I wanted to share with you the court information for Roy Vance Hammond's next appearance. His next court date is June 13th, 2016 at 9:00 am with Judge Stacey Lett. Note the contact information of the assistant prosecuting attorney assigned to this case. I think it is pretty unanimous with the supporters of this petition that full justice be served, and want no plea deal made to reduce charges. At least 1501 people believe this man should never own animals again, and much to my dismay, the horses are still there. I am not sure why they have not been removed. I can't imagine many more serious forms of torture. The outpouring of support from this community including those who know him show that he is abusive to animals and people alike. I will be contacting the Humane Society again tomorrow, and I will be mailing the entire petition to the assistant prosecuting attorney. I hope that it helps. The main reason I started this was to get those horses and other animals out of there.
