I have recently move into botanic ridge, when i got a rude awakening from the Casey Council, thinking that i could keep my furbabies insides where they are safe and not a threat to the Australian wildlife but somehow this is not the case.

The fact that we are not allowed to have our cats inside where they are no longer a threat to the protected species outside, i understand that we are close to the Botanic Gardens- Cranbourne, but what are my cats going to do if they are inside??

this just seems unreasonable and completely unfair as there are already so many cats who don't have a home, this may just cause more cats on the streets and in that case can lead our local wildlife into danger and threat.

Help me change this and let people in Botanic Ridge and Settlers Run enjoy the company of cats in the comfort of their own homes and protect the wildlife from more cats on the streets.
