On Wednesday October, 8th 2014 at the Auto Zone in Ardmore, Oklahoma Raymond Pinson was arrested for assaulting an employee and felony animal cruelty. Several witnesses watched in horror as Mr Pinson drug the puppy a (chi-weenie) thru the store. He was seen picking the puppy up approximately 3ft off the floor with his leash, ultimately chocking the puppy and was also seen drop kicking the him. The witnesses have gone on record stating the things they watched Mr Pinson do to this poor puppy during the horrific event. When a female employee stepped in to help save the innocent/battered puppy from anymore abuse Mr Pinson then proceeded to assault the employee as well. The Ardmore Police were then called and Mr Pinson was arrested for assaulting the female employee as well as for felony animal cruelty. When the Assistant DA Jack Coppedge received the charges he disgracefully dropped the charge of felony animal cruelty and lowered it to a misdemeanor charge of Outraging Public Decency. This is an outrage to so many animal lovers, for this man Mr Raymond Pinson to only receive a slap on the hand for his horrifically cruel acts of abuse to such an innocent and defenseless animal. Mr Pinson has even gone so far as to go up to the animal shelter (where the puppy he abused now is) to attempt in trying to retrieve the puppy back. Not only do we feel he shouldn't get the puppy back but he shouldn't ever be able to own another animal period!! We ask you to please sign this petition in hopes to make ADA Jack Coppedge to look at this case file again and see to it that Mr Pinson is charged properly with a felony for what his actions against this puppy truly deserves.
