Kim Tessari joined Matthew Plache in resigning from the County Commission-- also effective in May. Plache is out on May 15th and Tessari's effective date is May 31st.
It is crucial for the Delegation to make this appointment process for the TWO candidates transparent. These appointments should be the best people for the job, and should not be shrouded in partisan politics.
Here is the Conway Daily Sun's article on the Tessari announcement:

As Carroll County Citizens, we need to work hard to make sure we stay engaged and show up at the meeting when the Delegation meets. No date has been set for the Delegation meeting, but I will send out a notice the moment I hear a date and time.
The Commission no longer has a quorum as of 5/31, so hopefully Representative Lino will schedule a meeting soon so Carroll County can continue to handle the business of the people.
