We’re not asking for money— just your signature! 

Mail carriers are battling extreme heat conditions every summer, all while facing increasing demands and high parcel volumes.

In some areas, temperatures soar to 120 degrees—and the trucks we drive are 20 degrees higher.

It’s illegal to leave a child or animal in a vehicle under these conditions, yet we’re expected to work full shifts inside these metal ovens.

The same standard of basic safety and human decency need apply to mail carriers!

Most of us don’t even have access to a place to cool down during our lunch breaks. It’s time we acknowledge that no one should have to risk heat stroke or worse just to do their job.

On May 30, 2025 Dan Workman, a 59-year-old postal carrier, died while on the job.  On June 27, 2025 Jacob Taylor of Dallas, Texas, tragically passed away at the age of 51.  Both while performing their duties as letter carriers during extreme heat conditions. We respectfully honor their services and sacrifices and extend our deepest condolences to their families. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
