As wildfires rage in the West, CarMax keeps selling dangerous recalled cars with defects that make them prone to catching on fire. 

Sometimes the manufacturers warn consumers who own the cars not to park them in their garage. That's because they may ignite without warning and burn down their house. Obviously, they could also cause a fire that spreads throughout an entire neighborhood.

As NBC News reports, CarMax sold a dangerous recalled Ford truck to Anthony Santos. It was recalled because a short-circuit in the cruise control could cause a fire. CarMax failed to get the FREE safety recall repair done, before selling the hazardous vehicle to Mr. Santos. Later on, while the truck was parked in his driveway, it caught on fire and nearly destroyed his home.

CarMax insists this is perfectly OK for them to do.
