As the year comes to a close, we want to thank every one of the more than 117,000 people who have signed our petition, calling on CarMax to stop selling dangerous cars with deadly safety recall defects.

We really appreciate your caring about the safety of used car buyers and their families, and others who share the roads.

Despite the amazing outpouring of public support, CarMax keeps selling hazardous vehicles with serious safety defects they failed to get fixed, such as:

• Faulty brakes
• Steering wheels that can come off in the driver's hands
• Sticking accelerator pedals
• Catching on fire
• Exploding Takata airbags that have blinded drivers and passengers -- including children -- and caused others to bleed to death

That's because they have decided that it's enormously profitable to cut corners on safety. Especially since they hide behind forced arbitration clauses in their contracts, to keep their victims from being able to fight back in a public court of law.

We're determined to persist until they stop. We just hope they get the message before there's another horrendous tragedy they could have easily prevented simply by getting FREE safety recall repairs done first.
